Tunisia is recording an increased number of tourists following the resumption of flights by British travel company Thomas Cook earlier in the week. The country's top tourism earner has suffered since 2015 when a gunman opened fire on tourists at the Marhaba Hotel. Many countries including the UK issued travel advisories in response to the attack. The government says that the security situation is now stable.
